  • Environmental Racism - Environmental policy-making in which the negative impacts fall primarily on people of color. For example, targeting communities of color for toxic waste disposal.
  • Libertarian Party - A political party that advocates maximizing individual rights and minimizing the size and cost of the government.
  • Superfund - A Superfund site is any land in the United States that has been contaminated by hazardous waste and identified by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) as a candidate for cleanup because it poses a risk to human health and/or the environment. The EPA will require whoever is responsible for the contamination to pay for the clean up. If that is impossible, the EPA will use their own funds.
