New housing development just outside of the small mountain town of Crimson. This area has become increasingly attractive to both developers and newcomers to the area because of its majectic views and relatively easy access to Vermillion. Many who work in Vermillion commute from Crimson, which has angered many long time residents. They see the rapid influx of residents as a detriment to the area's quality of life because of the added traffic and noise that the newcomers bring. But many newcomers say that they have escaped the escalated housing prices in town to build on the relatively inexpensive land in the mountains.
