This is a view of the wilderness of the Crimson Forest Area. As you can see in the center of this picture, this area was once ravaged by a large forest fire. Environmentalists fear that growth and development in the forest will create a greater rist of fire and a greater need for fire protection and education. Others, like recreationalists and members of the timber industry see the forest as a natural resource that we should be able to use to meet human needs.
