This is a view of North Silver Peak from the Silver Peak recreation area. Local Forest Service employees are worried that increased growth will further crowd the local recreation areas and will cause an already burdened staff to cut corners in managing the various parks. They are worried that without proper fire and wildlife education, there will be increased levels of wildfire and wild animal encounters.
