This is a view of downtown Silver Cliff. Smaller and slower paced than Vermillion, Silver Cliff is mixed on the growth issue. One one hand, local businesses would benefit from an influx of residents and tourists to the area. However, they are wary that widespread growth would make it increasingly difficult to compete with the "big box" chain stores that would likely follow, especially with the development of Wamasana Center. Silver Cliff residents, especially those on tight budgets, would like the amenities of low cost goods and services. However, there is debate whether the region wants these at the expense of local shops and businesses.
